The shallower 7 inch bowl works well for a prep sink - no bending. One small thing: size is good; only a bit tighter in the bowl than I'm used to. Very happy with it.

Substantial copper

16 gauge copper is substantial - no thin shell here. Near square 10mm corners look crisp but are still easy to clean. At this price, I was pleasantly surprised. My only complaint: size is good; just a bit tighter in the bowl than I'm used to.

The cut-out template in the box made the counter cut easy. The square shape gives more usable space than you'd think. The hammered copper is a real statement piece.

Right size for our kitchen

17 inches is the perfect width for our kitchen. The tight 10mm corners need a bit more wiping than a rounded bowl, but they look great.

The listing said it needs a cabinet at least 20 inches wide. Spot on - ours is 21 and it fits great. The transitional look fits in our space - not too modern, not too traditional. The copper has a rich warm color. Instructions are easy to follow. Exactly what we wanted.

Use it as a prep sink on our island. Small 17 inch size is perfect as a prep sink. The copper has a rich warm color in person. Near square 10mm corners look crisp but are still easy to wipe. Undermount, so we sweep crumbs straight off the counter into the sink - no rim to catch anything. The transitional look fits with our kitchen - somewhere between modern and classic. Highly recommend.

Strainer included, so it's good value. Cheaper than the local stores asked for a similar size sink. 17 inches was the right width for our kitchen. No faucet holes in the sink, so we put our faucet exactly where we wanted it. The hammered copper looks handmade.

About a year in and it still looks great. The hammered copper is gorgeous. The template in the box made the install go smoothly. Price was right for the quality. The CSA mark mattered to us - the inspector signed off no problem. If I had to nitpick: undermount needs a stone counter - we had to upgrade from laminate, so keep that in mind.

Frequently asked about this product
Q
What size base cabinet do I need for this sink?
Frequently asked
A
Fits a base cabinet at least 20 in wide. The sink itself is 17 in wide, 17 in front to back and 7 in deep - these are outside (rim) measurements, the same ones in the product title.

Q
Is this an undermount or a drop-in (top-mount) sink?
Frequently asked
A
This is an undermount sink, installed from below the countertop; the installation instructions are in the box.

Q
How many bowls does it have?
Frequently asked
A
A single bowl - the whole inside is one basin, which is the easiest layout for large pans and roasting trays.

Q
How many faucet holes does it have?
Frequently asked
A
None on the sink itself. As an undermount sink it has no deck, so the faucet mounts through the countertop behind it - drill the countertop for your faucet (1 hole for a single-handle faucet, more if it has a side spray or soap dispenser).

Q
Does it come with the drain / basket strainer?
Frequently asked
A
Yes, the drain assembly (basket strainer) is included in the box.

Q
Does it work with a garbage disposal?
Frequently asked
A
Yes. It has the standard 3-1/2 in kitchen drain opening that household garbage disposals mount to; the disposal's own flange replaces the basket strainer on that bowl.

Q
How deep is the sink?
Frequently asked
A
The sink stands 7 in tall overall (rim to the bottom, outside measurement). The usable depth once installed is the inside depth, plus the thickness of your countertop above the rim on an undermount. Check it against the drain and disposal you plan to use so the trap still fits in the cabinet.

Q
What gauge is the copper?
Frequently asked
A
16 gauge copper - thicker than the 18 gauge common in builder-grade sinks, which means less flex and a quieter bowl.

Q
Are the bowl corners square or rounded?
Frequently asked
A
The bowl corners have a 10 mm radius - a tight, near-square modern look that is still easy to wipe clean.

Q
Does it have an overflow?
Frequently asked
A
No. Kitchen sinks do not have an overflow opening (that is a bathroom-sink feature); use a faucet with a reasonable flow and the basket strainer to control the water level.

Q
Will the copper change colour over time?
Frequently asked
A
Yes - copper is a living finish. The hammered copper darkens and develops a natural patina within weeks, which is what most buyers want; acidic foods (lemon, tomato, vinegar) leave lighter spots that blend back in. Rinse after use, dry with a soft cloth and use mild soap only - no abrasives or harsh chemicals. A copper wax slows the patina if you prefer the as-delivered look.

Q
Is it certified for use in Canada and the US?
Frequently asked
A
It is CSA certified, which is what Canadian plumbing inspectors look for at final inspection. For a permitted installation in the United States, check whether your inspector asks for the cUPC mark specifically before ordering.

Q
Who makes this sink, and where is it made?
Frequently asked
A
It is our own house-brand sink, manufactured in China to our specification. We are the importer, not a reseller: every box is opened and inspected at our warehouse before it ships, and the quality-audit photos are available with your order.

Q
Can I return it if it does not fit or I change my mind?
Frequently asked
A
